our story
In 2005, Toronto’s Little Italy District welcomed new neighbour Ziggy’s At Home to 794 College Street.
Home furnishings may be new to the block, but the name Ziggy has a long and storied history in this space. For over 50 years, the store was home to Fass Leather Goods - owned and operated by Zelig Fass.
Zelig, affectionately known as 'Ziggy', welcomed friends, family, and customers into his leather goods store - seven days a week - for a suitcase, a joke, a coffee, or maybe a touch of something stronger! A beloved character, Ziggy was an institution on College. Sadly, he passed away at age 90, but his legacy lives on in his granddaughter, Julie Fass and Ziggy’s At Home.
Persons Of Interest Eau De Parfum, Suite 1742
Named for Suite 1742, the iconic room number in the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal where John Lennon and Yoko Ono famously staged their week long "Bed-in" for peace. Persons on Interest Suite 1742 is befitting of those with a taste for tradition, as cedarwood, citrus, and tobacco give way to smatterings of clove, vanilla, and synthetic ambergris.
